King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) opened for operations in October 1999 and is currently the third largest international airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in terms of passenger volume.

Located in the Eastern Province, it serves as the gateway to a region with apopulation of over 4 million people.
