Traveling with a Wheelchair
1. Traveling with Your Personal Wheelchair
Passengers may travel with their own mobility devices, including electric wheelchairs. To ensure safe and proper handling:
- Please notify your airline at least 48 hours before the flight.
- The wheelchair must be handed over at the airline check-in counter to be prepared for transport according to approved safety procedures.
- Airline policies regarding aircraft space limitations and regulations related to batteries and hazardous materials for electric wheelchairs will apply.
Passengers may bring up to two mobility assistance devices at no additional cost, in accordance with airline policies.
2. Traveling Without a Personal Wheelchair
For passengers who do not have their own wheelchair, airlines provide complimentary wheelchairs at check-in counters upon prior request.
- Please request the service during booking or at least 48 hours before your flight to ensure availability.
- The service is free of charge when requested in advance.
